This weekend I got lucky again! Watched Pirates Of The Caribbean - Dead Mans Chest



Before you watch this movie, a word of advice - the movie does NOT have an ending. You will have to wait for the third part of it. Once you are okay with this, the movie is very much enjoyable.
Johnny Depp manages to do it yet again. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, although over-shawdowed by Johnny Depp, pack enough punch to get noticed. The special effects are as good as the first part.
As with all movies (expect LOTR) its not as good as the first part. If the first part was 10/10, this one deserves 8.5/10.
But all in all, its definitely worth the dough.

Whatever others do, Microsoft has to be one step ahead! :)
So while Yahoo is working on the new Yahoo Photos which is more intuitive and uses Ajax extensively, Microsoft has come up with something way ahead of others - PhotoSynth

This software is supposed to "read" your digital photo collection and create 3D images out of it! Well, I can't wait to get my hands on this one! :)

Over the Edge

Caught a movie recently. Over The Hedge



If I had to describe this movie in one word, i would say - avoid.
I went with my old college friends so i enjoyed. But it wasn't the movie. It was just good company. The storyline is too weak and too cliche. The animation is good - as usual. And the funny moments and few and isolated.
My advice - sit at home and watch Shrek again.
